In Memory of Maryse -Vamoura-by *nmsmith

Customization / Wallpaper / Abstract

I created this in memory of my dear friend, Maryse (Vamoura - [link]). When I first began experimenting with Photoshop, she was so kind to me. We did several fractal collaboration pieces together. She loved beautiful color and form.

I was saddened to hear that she passed away at the still tender age of 44. Maryse, we will miss you!

This is the first print I've enabled on DA. I did it not to make money, but to give friends an opportunity to have a remembrance of her.

I'm sorry you lost a friend. I now what it's like, becuse I lost my uncle 2 years ago and the aniversiery of the day I found out is coming up soon. And last year I lost my Grandfather(I called him GrandJim.) and this year I might lose one of my Great Grandmothers(My Grandparent's parents) or my Pa Pa or grandfather.And I've lost a friend as well, he didn't die but he moved away, he was one of my best friends and I had feelings for him, but then I got rejected. I rewrite a song for him so I'll feel a little beter about him being gone, it's in my jounal. I'm just sorry that I couldn't meet her. I'm sure she would be happy, and she is up their watching us. I think your doing a great job at honnering and preserving her memory. This kind of pain can't be forgotten but friends can help you in that time of pain and need.

Her name was Marise. I never met her in person, but became a good friend over the internet. We did many collaboration pieces together. The loved ones you lost were much closer, I'm sure - because they were family. It's always hard to lose a loved one to death. I take comfort in knowing there is life after death, and family relationships continue after the grave. I do know that souls continue past mortality, and are eternal.

Thanks. You know I think this is the start of a wonderful friendship. Some how it's fun and easy talking to you, know when I think of you I think of an older brother, but I don't know to whom, but that's the thought and image that shows up in my head when I think of you and it's just a resent thought.
